Here are some questions you might use as starting points, but remember you're not limited to these. Feel free to come up with your own.

What do you think will be happening in the future?

What amazing new inventions will change how we live and work in the future?

Will regular people be living on a space station, or perhaps even on another planet or moon?

What sort of cars will we drive? Will they drive themselves? Will they fly?

How will food change, or will it change at all?

What will kids do for fun in the future? Skateboards or Hoverboards?!?

What games will you play?

If you're a kid in any grade from Kindergarten to 6th*, be a part of the...

Future World Project

Be a part of our production of That's What Kids Do! coming to the Bristol Riverside Theatre in Bristol, PA this October.

Have your video chosen to be part of the show!

The idea of the Future World Project is for kids, who are the leaders and inventors of tomorrow, to imagine and discuss what our world might be like in the future. It could be next year, or the next decade. We're just asking kids to think ahead, and invent their own future world and tell us about it in their own video clip.

Kids in grades K - 6 are invited to create and upload their own Future World Project video clips.

Your clip will be a short video of yourself explaining and/or demonstrating your idea or prediction for the future. It should be in your own words. Your family may help you create and upload the video, but it should be your idea.

Please begin your video by saying, "In the future world...", and then tell us your fantastic idea! Don't be afraid to Let your imagination go wild!

Here's what you do...

Once you've got your video recorded and on your computer just go to our FutureWorldProject YouTube page to upload your video as a response to our Future World Project video.

Rules:

We're primarily interested in hearing what kids in grades K - 6 think about the future world, in their own words.

A panel of judges will pick the top video submissions from all those submitted. The selected videos will be incorporated into a live multi-media performance of Cathy Block's musical, That's What Kids Do!, which will be presented by Theatre Arts Center & Building Block Music at the Bristol Riverside Theatre on October 9th & 10, 2009.

If you're interested in catching a live performance of That's What Kids Do! you'll find the info here.

* If you can play any of these ages (4 - 13) you may submit a video even if you're a little older. Also, if you're outside the range consider becoming a Director and make a video with a younger friend or sibling.
